Reflecting upon my immersion into ISS 2023, one resounding word encapsulates the essence of my experience: “Dynamic.” In the brief span of a mere seven days, I embarked on a journey of multifaceted exploration. Nestled within the tapestry of hostel life, I forged bonds with my fellow ISS companions, an experience that I wholeheartedly relished. Throughout this sojourn, I encountered the peaks and valleys of personal growth, yet found unwavering support in the camaraderie of both friends and mentors.

The classroom sessions, or rather intellectual odysseys, transported me to depths of understanding I had never before ventured. My pursuit of knowledge traversed myriad topics, some seldom broached yet undeniably integral to the tapestry of our existence, all thoughtfully discussed within the walls of Rishihood. The synergy among the venerable seniors, sagacious mentors, and dedicated volunteers ensured a consistently interactive and enlightening environment that served to keep me continually engaged and inquisitive.

ISS 23 stands out as an exceptionally enlightening experience. It was a trove of invaluable information, meticulously designed routines, and culinary delights that evoked the warmth of home. This immersive journey nurtured my independence, offering a multitude of opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery.

One of the remarkable facets of Rishihood University is its profound reverence for our cultural heritage, a trait that deeply resonated with me. The extensive array of activities and sessions on offer ensured that I remained invigorated and engaged throughout my stay. Notably, the Bhajan Sandhya and the exuberant DJ Night were unequivocal highlights, etching unforgettable memories in my heart.

The bonds of friendship I forged during my time here are treasures I will carry forward. The camaraderie among my newfound companions enriched my experience, and their absence will undoubtedly be felt. I am profoundly grateful to Mohit Sir, Aparna Mam, and Ayushee Mam for their approachability and unwavering dedication in orchestrating such a remarkably effective camp. ISS 23 has left an indelible mark on my journey of self-discovery and learning, for which I am immensely thankful.

Attending a summer school for the first time was a leap into the unknown, and I admit I wasn’t entirely prepared to depart from the comfort of home to reside among strangers for a duration of seven days. However, I can confidently assert that my trepidations dissipated entirely on that very first day, as I found myself forging new friendships and immersing in the meticulously organized activities.

Each day presented a well-balanced schedule, comprising dedicated focus hours, moments of relaxation, engaging activities, sporting endeavors, and my personal favorite, the exhilarating evening events. Throughout this enriching experience, I absorbed a plethora of new knowledge, ranging from deep dives into the realms of AI and technology, acquiring the art of negotiation, and honing my skills in the art of group discussions.

The School of Health introduced us to the hitherto uncharted territory of CPR, adding a practical and invaluable skill to our repertoire. My time at the sports center brought boundless enjoyment and camaraderie. As I reflect on this memorable experience, I eagerly anticipate the prospect of returning for the Winter School, brimming with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead.
