Simon Kavanagh

Simon Kavanagh, who will be facilitating the TeachAhead workshop at our university, is the Program Director of Kaospilots professional programs, Designing & Facilitating Learning Spaces and Designing Learning Spaces (online). Born in Dublin, Simon studied Art and Design Education @NCAD ’96. He is passionate about education and is interested in creating more meaningful learning. Together, these professional programs have surpassed 6000 alumni, from Europe to Australia, Japan, South Africa, Brazil to Canada.

The big deep dive into the core elements of the Kaospilot approach to learning design and facilitation. Experience how to co-create the learning frames and build a learning team to create engagement and meaning through action-based learning, theory & reflection.

Let’s start building the learning strategy and curricula of the future, today! For any serious change to take place there must be a strong need, purpose, vision and team behind it! So, we’ll form groups, pre-ject and find the leaders to seek emergence & breakthrough for new (future proof online, offline or hybrid) learning strategies, journeys and curricula.

Boom! One last push with convergent action towards the perfect learning strategy. Create it, share it and get the reward of personal feedback. But wait, we’re not done there, we will work with the learning arch methodology to bring the curriculum alive and feed-forward and apply what you’ve learned.
